What it does

A BACnet-native building often acquires Modbus equipment — a meter, a chiller, a generator controller. This bridge makes that equipment appear as BACnet objects so the existing BMS can read it without special cases.

Present values are readable, and writable objects are commandable from the BMS — so the equipment behaves like the rest of the estate rather than as a read-only exception the operators must work around.

No cloud capability, by design. Control stays inside the building, which is precisely why two-way access is appropriate here and not on our cloud gateways.
